Meet the Founder
Hi, I'm Gayathri (pronounced Guy-uh-three), founder of The Pilates Club.
People often ask how a pharmacist and public health professional and accredited life coach ended up opening a reformer Pilates studio.
To me, it makes perfect sense.
Every chapter of my career has been driven by the same question:
How can we help people live healthier, happier lives?
I began my career as a pharmacist before moving into public health, where I worked on improving health at a population level. My work focused on helping people live well—not simply by treating illness, but by creating environments where healthy choices became easier.
One idea has stayed with me throughout my career: our health is shaped by far more than medicine alone.
Movement, meaningful relationships and the communities we belong to all play a powerful role in our physical and psychological wellbeing. Those principles have guided every decision I've made, including creating The Pilates Club.
Movement and community.
We believe Pilates should be challenging without being intimidating. Whether you're walking into your very first class or you've been practising for years, our goal is simple: to make every person feel welcomed, supported and genuinely cared for.
I've carefully built a team of instructors who share those values because I never wanted this to feel like just another fitness studio. We know our members by name, we celebrate their progress and we're proud of the community we've built together.
My hope is that you leave every class feeling not only physically stronger, but happier, more confident and more connected than when you arrived.

Gayathri-Align
Monday 7-11am Tuesday 5-9am Wednesday 7-11am, Thursday 5-9pm, Friday 9-1pm
The founder of The Pilates Club and a BASI-trained instructor with a background in dance. Classes blend dynamic flow with classical precision: designed to challenge, energise, and leave you feeling stronger in both body and mind.
I believes Pilates is more than movement, it’s a way to reconnect with yourself, build resilience, and move through life with ease and confidence. I’ve used movement to lift my mental and physical health my whole life and I’d love to share that with you.
Expect intelligent sequencing, empowering cues, and a sprinkle of warmth and humour that make every class feel personal. ✨

Natalie - Strength
Monday 5-9pm
Natalie is a certified Reformer Pilates Instructor and experienced coach dedicated to helping you achieve your fitness goals. She is also certified to teach barre and swimming, but her journey into Pilates began 25 years ago, playing a vital role in her recovery from a spinal fracture and return to fitness.
This personal experience gives her a unique understanding and empathy for physical rehabilitation, which she brings to her teaching.
She specialises in creating personalised Pilates experiences tailored to all levels, ensuring you feel motivated and supported on your path to wellness.🤸✨ -

Hazel-Glide
Tuesday 7-11am, Thursday 7-11am
Hazel is a qualified Reformers Pilates instructor, with a background in dance and gymnastics and strength and conditioning.
With this in mind, she ensures each class has a combination of flow and strength to help everyone engage with their body and feel like a dancer themselves.
She brings a calm, alignment-focused practice to Pilates, aiming to make each person find their movement style and capability.

Eugenia- Precision
Wednsday 5-9 pm and Saturday 8-1pm
With a background in Pilates, fitness, dance and movement science, Eugenia brings exceptional precision to every class. Her thoughtful teaching style focuses on alignment, control and quality of movement, helping you build strength, confidence and body awareness with every session.

Chandni- Conditioning
Sunday 8-1pm
Chandni is a certified Reformer Pilates instructor with nearly a decade of experience in the fitness industry🏋🏽♀️.
Starting her journey as a personal trainer (ACSM), she later trained in yoga and holds a Master’s in Sports & Exercise Nutrition - bringing a well-rounded, holistic approach to movement.🍎⚽️
Her classes focus on full-body strength, spinal mobility, and core engagement, with a strong emphasis on breath, control, and alignment.
Drawing from her background in fitness and yoga, she offers thoughtful, well-structured sessions tailored to suit all levels and age groups. She loves helping clients develop a strong mind-muscle connection to move with confidence. Her goal is to support each individual in developing lasting body awareness, moving with ease, and progressing safely at their own pace. 🧘🏻♀️🐢
