FAQs

  • What’s your cancellation policy?

If you’ve purchased a pass from us, it’s non refundable. If you think you’re going to miss a class , tell us 12 hours in advance or cancel on the website using your Login . It’s not because I don’t want to be flexible, it’s because of how the instructors are paid- classes get cancelled with less than 30% capacity. So if the class gets lower than 3, they don’t get paid but they wi have already commuted . If it’s an emergency though, of course we’ll understand and try to cater to you.

  • Can I attend if I have an injury?

This depends on the severity of the injury, but prior to arriving for your first class you will complete a Online Health Questionnaire to highlight any existing injuries or medical conditions. This will be reviewed by your instructor and if necessary they may recommend a 1 on 1 workout instead, if the instructor is happy for you to attend they will adjust the workout to accommodate you.

  • What is a class wait list?

A wait list is a list of members waiting for a space to become available in a class. If you try to make a reservation for a class which is already full, you will be offered a place on the wait list, unless the wait list is already full.

If a space becomes available more than 6 hours before the class start time, you will be upgraded from the wait list and added to the class. You will receive a confirmation email & text to confirm that you are booked into that class

  • Can I temporarily suspend my monthly membership?

Suspending your membership is not possible, if you are not attending for a prolonged amount of time we suggest you cancel your membership and then restart it when you are ready to return.

  • Do I have to have grippy socks?

We’re a barefoot or grippy socks studio, although our preference is grippy socks. It’s to stop you from slipping on the machines. I’ve added anti slip carriage protectors- if you could try avoiding wearing things with zips on them because they catch and damage them, that would be amazing. After every session clients wipe down equipment with alcohol wipes but I also clean the machines so it’s hygienic . Primark sells grippy socks on Eden Street for £4.

  • How far in advance can I book classes?

All classes can be booked up to 4 weeks in advance. Please do not book multiple classes on the same day one after the other- it’ll prevent someone else from booking a spot.

  • Can I attend if I'm pregnant?

If you are new to Reformer Pilates, we ask that you refrain from attending group classes during your pregnancy.

    Existing Members:

Please inform your instructor as soon as you become aware that you are pregnant.

If you have been attending regular classes with us prior to your pregnancy, they can adapt the exercises for you, allowing you to continue attending classes for as long as you feel comfortable or until your instructor recommends stopping or switching to 1 on 1 sessions only. We do insist that you stop attending group classes when you are 36 weeks pregnant.

We recommend that you complete a 1 on 1 session with your instructor at the start of your pregnancy and at the start of each trimester. This allows your instructor to advise you on how to adapt and modify exercises within our classes.

    Non-Members:

If you have not been attending regular classes with us prior to your pregnancy, we ask that you refrain from booking into any group classes.

Instead, we recommend starting with 1 on 1 Pilates sessions with one of our instructors. After some initial 1 on 1 sessions, your instructor may advise transitioning to group classes. For your safety and the safety of your baby we do not accept 1 on 1 bookings during your first trimester, please wait until your 2nd trimester.
